" Visveswarapura College of Science was established in the year 1966 under the aegis of Vokkaligara Sangha. It is affiliated to Bangalore University and NAAC accrediated with ‘B’. College comes under the ambit of 2(f) and 12(b) of the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.
Our college is the premier and pioneering educational institution and only courses in science stream are conducted. Well experienced and dedicated teachers striving effortlessly to cater the quality education and academic atmosphere in the College. Faculty members brought laurels to the College by publishing books, research papers, availing research projects from the funding agencies of both the state and Govt. of India. Some teachers have worked as resource persons in various organizations of the Country. Knowledge is imparted through a multimedia presentation and uploading the E-contents in the Web. Laboratories are very well maintained and state of art library with a large collection of books and journals. College is established in the heart of the garden city, Bengaluru and has a serene atmosphere to excel in academics".
